I am your best friend, for life

Will always be there for you, in times of strife

I know how supportive you are

And have been forever

You, will I always fiercely defend

Because, are you very kind

Never, will I leave you

Because, platonically do I love you!

I am your best friend, for life

You are my confidante-in-chief

Guiding me like a mentor

Scolding me like an elder sister

Though you are actually younger

For me, very well do you care

Similarly, forever will I keep your secrets

And provide valuable help and support

Because, I care for you a ton

For your mother, am I as good as a son!!

You are my unofficial sister, for life

So much do I love our long calls

And the fact that you take time out to call

Is one of the sweetest things ever

Equally do I love your voice notes, sister

Speaking with you feels so easy

It’s almost like speaking with family

In fact, you ARE family!!

In fact, if I happen to find a potential life partner
