Yet another poem dedicated to Ron Weasley, my favourite character from the world of Harry Potter. Here goes the content:

I am Ronald Bilius Weasley

I come from a poor family

And have five brothers

As well as a sister

Each of whom, is unique

In his/her own way

But I am not

Nothing I achieve, is ever considered to be praiseworthy

Because everyone else has done it

At some point in their lives

I am Ronald Bilius Weasley

Harry is my best mate

And will always be

Yes, we did have our issues

But I am no jealous prat

Like some people make me out to be

What happened in our fourth year

Was just a misunderstanding

And could have happened with anyone

After all, I was just fourteen!

Coming to the seventh year, yes, I was indeed a prat

But my insecurities did me in

And I was genuinely worried to death

As far as my family was concerned

Also, the Horcrux affected me much worse

Than it did Harry or Hermione

It really preyed on my insecurities

And almost immediately after leaving

I regretted my decision

But what could I do?

I ran into a bunch of frigging Snatchers

And after I somehow managed to escape

I had no clue as to how to find my friends

Thanks to all the spells they had to put on our tent

In order to keep unwanted visitors away

It was ultimately late Professor Dumbledore who showed me the path

Through his Deluminator

Which, I should say, was ruddy brilliant!!

I am Ronald Bilius Weasley

I had a crush on Madam Rosmerta

And I snogged Lavender

But it is Hermione, and only Hermione

Who means the world to me

But I don’t know how to tell her this

Because I know as much about girls

As You-Know-Who knows about love!!

There are some

Who say that I don’t deserve Hermione

But just look at us!

We complement each other perfectly

She is brilliant, dedicated and uptight

And I am cheerful, funny and goofy

She helps me stay grounded

I help her lighten up

She teaches me about Muggles

I teach her about the wizarding world

There is a mutual respect between us

Though it may not be apparent

The way we fight sometimes

But that is just our competitive streak

Don’t read too much into it

I am Ronald Bilius Weasley

I am one of the most controversial characters

In the Potterverse

But then, it means

That I am indeed special

Unlike what my haters make me out to be

After all, in order to have haters in the first pace

You must have accomplished something for sure!!
