R.I.P Dear Vidya Mami

Poem in remembrance of my aunt Vidya Mami, who suffered an untimely demise just today morning; here is the content:

Dear Vidya Mami, please rest in peace

You, will we all miss

And you were suffering for a long time

That too, at an age prime

However, a fighter you were for sure

Give up, you did never

It’s thus extremely sad for all of us

Your thoroughly untimely demise

Ashok Mama and Vinithra cared for you a lot

The thought of death, was in our minds not

Fate has undoubtedly been cruel

We had so hoped and prayed everything would ultimately end well

In fact, you were on the road to recovery

However, things went south in a hurry

Well, you will be remembered as a strong woman

Who did too many things on her own

Vinithra could not have asked for a better mother

All the support she needed, you provided her

So, we will never forget you at all

In Heaven, may God bless your soul!
