A very dear friend, you are

For me, a lot do you care

An innocent and sweet guy

With you, am I always happy!

A very dear friend, you are

With you, rarely is life a bore

Often do we talk, for hours and hours

Thanks to you, never do I notice how time flies

So much fun, have we had

Quite a lot, have we travelled

Especially by train

From you, is there so much to learn

A damn good linguist, you are

Exceedingly well, do you drive a car

All in all, are you very talented

And I am so proud!!

A very dear friend, you are

So caring and affectionate, is your mother

Fun to chat with, is your father

On the whole, do I love your family

Staying with you all makes me so happy

Equally do I love it, when you visit my home

Our friendship is truly a dream!!
