Poem dedicated to my cousin Pavithra, whose son Ninad’s 1st birthday function I’ll be attending on June 3rd. Here is the content:
You are my sweetest cousin
A very friendly and cheerful person
Never will you hurt a fly
Nor can you be sly
Even to save your life
Really long, may you live!
You are my sweetest cousin
In saying that, am I not alone
You are so loved
Even more than Israel is hated
Not to mention, are you quite smart
As well as extremely eloquent!!
You are my sweetest cousin
Never, are you vain
So happy am I, that you are a proud mother
Equally proud am I, to be your cousin brother
Wait I cannot, to see your adorable son
Of course, I’ll be seeing you all very soon
Please stay the way you are
