Thou Art A Good Friend

This is a poem dedicated to Tamanna, my colleague and friend. Here goes the content:

Thou art a good friend

May our relationship have no end

Also, are you one of my nicest colleagues

Never are you vague

From you, have I learned a lot

Hence, shall I forget you not!

Thou art a good friend

For you, a few rules would I like to bend

Damn helpful and reliable

You are also extremely capable

Nothing is beyond you

Even if you happen to have Monday Blues!!

Thou art a good friend

Sometimes, may I be weird

But you are so understanding

That, for you, is it nothing

On a few occasions, have I given you a bit of trouble

And though it was nothing you couldn’t handle

I would like to say sorry

It won’t happen again, don’t worry!!

Thou art a good friend

And we share a strong bond

If there is anything you need

Only too happy will I be, to aid

We have had some fabulous times

Always, has your party form been sublime

Mentally, are you quite tough

With almost no trouble, have you ridden the rough!!

Thou art a good friend

Of whom, am I quite proud

For you, will I always be there

You need not fear

Stay the way you are

And may Jesus bless you for evermore!!
