My colleague, you were
My friend, you are
With a perennial smile on your beautiful face
Did you throw the dice
When it cometh to work
Sometimes, I wish you came back
Because, without you, things are not quite the same
You are indeed quite a delightful dame!!

My colleague, you were
My friend, you are
A pleasure was it, to work with you
Because, you were the glue
That held everything together
And ensured I gave up never
Some wonderful times, did we have
A few storms, did we brave
You were quite the life of the party
All negative thoughts, did we bury
Thanks to your positive vibes
Very few, were your vices

My colleague, you were
My friend, you are
We have shared a few secrets
Trustworthiness, is one of your many assets
Always, have you supported me
Hence, with you, have I always felt free
Of course, you’ve had your share of troubles
In your path, have there been quite a few hurdles
Here’s hoping, may you soon find your inner peace
And may your life become a breeze
