Birthday special poem, dedicated to railfan Omkar; one of my closest friends. Here goes the content:

Dear Omkar, wish you a very happy birthday!

May you always be happy!!

Fun is it, to have you as a friend

To our relationship, will there be no end!

Over four years ago, did we first meet

In the scorching summer heat

To celebrate the birthday of the Deccan Queen

Since then, a long time has it been

Multiple times, have we met

Angry, do you never get

Blessed am I, to have met your family

An excellent cook, is your mother

And gets along with me so nicely

Very well read, is your father

Not to mention, extremely helpful

Finally, do we come to your sister

Truly a ball of energy, is she

While talking with her, do I feel very free

All in all, am I so grateful

To get to know you and your family

May you all live very happily!!

We have had some great times together

Travelling with you is absolutely a pleasure

From train journeys to long car drives

And movies to dining with drinks

Never noticed, have we, how time flies

In our armour of friendship, are there no chinks!

So glad was I, when you stayed at my home

The time we spent, was truly awesome

A wonderful friend, you are

And deeply do you care

About those you hold dear

Never should you think of yourself less

Because you are a linguist

As well as an extremely talented artist

Not to mention, so well do you drive

In all environments, may you thrive!

With oodles of common sense

Rarely do you get tense

And there is nothing that you cannot do!!
