Poem Dedicated To My Friend Namrata

This is a poem dedicated to my friend and former Team Lead Namrata. Here is the content:

You were my Team Lead

And a great one at that

Not only did you always support me

You were also fun to work with

Though we all were under a lot of pressure

You ensured that I remained calm

By the bearing the brunt of it yourself

For which I felt somewhat guilty

However, you took it in your stride

Because, for an ice-cool leader like you

It was probably all in a day’s work

Of course, you weren’t just my TL

You were also a good friend

In fact, you are

Also, you always had my back

And I am really sorry

That I didn’t follow your advice

When it came to a certain person

Anyway, I am really happy

To have a person like you in my life

We haven’t met in ages

But hopefully, we will catch up soon

Till then, please remain the awesome human being you are
