I keep losing things

Do I have an absent mind ?

As some people assume ?

I certainly have an autist mind

A mind with a different tune

Organization is not my forte

Though I try my best

It is a real test

With less success than failure

I keep losing things

Though I do take care

It is so not fair

I sometimes misplace things

Why do I forget ?

Is it the work of Fate ?

It is not in my control

I can’t remember all

I usually make an effort

To get lost things back

Sometimes it does work

But not all days are bright

I lose my things more

And others’ things less

That doesn’t mean I won’t fuss

Finding lost things is a bore

Anyway, I’ll live life to the hilt

It doesn’t pay to worry always

Every car gets a dent

The tide may turn in a few years
