I Dream Of So Many Things

This is a poem on all the things I love to dream about, while imagining how my life should ideally be. Here is the content:

I dream of so many things

Reducing my worries and insecurities to nothing

Being empathetic during good as well as bad times

Totally erasing my negative memories

Completely forgetting people who have hurt me

Having the mindset to simply let things be

No matter how horrible the situation may be

Being free as a child

Spending all my time with children

Endless, is the list

By now, should you have got the list!

I dream of so many things

Using magic for anything and everything

Getting myself out of this wretched Muggle world

Entering the wizarding world

And starting my life all over again

Forgetting all my Muggle pain

Using spells to do my work

Flying on the back of Hagrid’s Hippogriff Buckbeak

Modifying the memories of people who intentionally hurt me

And using Cheering Charms on myself

Whenever I am feeling low

Hogwarts should be my home!!

I dream of so many things

All the time, from home, working

Apparating to my workplace if Work From Office is a must

Making all good candidates my dosts

In order to obtain their resumes

Achieving closures at a breakneck pace

Using Felix Felicis to avoid candidate backouts

Consistently taking shortcuts

Ensuring impossible becomes nothing

Oh, is my mind capable of conjuring anything and everything!!

I dream of so many things

Reducing my divorced and single life to nothing

Whether it be through finding a girlfriend, wife or even live-in partner

Definitely, do I deserve better

Imagine my romantic life

Of course, it won’t be free of strife

Nevertheless, surely better than remaining single

With poets, could we mingle

Listen to Harris Jayaraj melodies

Discuss and dissect politics

Have a Beef Biryani for dinner

Play my favourite mobile video game “Choices” together

Write poems about each other

Travel by train together

Oh, endless are the possibilities

Wish I had the ability

To make the impossible happen

Then, would my life be heaven!!

I dream of so many things

Of course, not always can I achieve everything

But seriously, what’s the harm in dreaming?

It’s not as though I dream of bad things

In fact, almost all the dreams listed here are positive

In my opinion, that’s the way to live

Oh Jesus, please make them happen

Then, would my life indeed be heaven!!
