Thou art a very kind soul

With a mind most beautiful

Your poetry is so captivating

That we could go on listening

And end up finding ourselves in an entirely new world

A world full of love

A world full of empathy

A world full of equality

A world full of happiness

And finally

A world full of peace!

Thou art a very kind soul

Extremely supportive of one and all

Never do you judge

Very well, do you mingle

Often, is there a lot of joy

And negativity is kept at bay

Whenever you are around

Of you, am I quite fond!!

Thou art a very kind soul

With you, never can life be dull

A class apart, is your recitation

For sure, does it grab our attention

Whether it be Hindi or English

Never are you harsh

In fact, are you one of the sweetest poets

As well as one of my favourites
