Happy Birthday Aishwarya

This poem is dedicated to my favourite actress Aishwarya Lekshmi for her birthday today. Here is the content:

Dear Aishwarya, wish you a very very happy birthday!!

I don’t know where to start

Ever since I saw your fiery and intense performance

In the movie “Jagame Thanthiram”

I have been a huge fan of yours

You are a highly skilled actress

Blessed with exceptional talent

And at the same time, extremely dedicated and hardworking

Especially when it comes to your fitness

You are also extremely versatile

As can be observed

From the sheer variety of characters you’ve played over the years

And the best part is

You play every role to perfection

For instance, in “PS1” and “PS2”

You didn’t get a lot of screen time

However, in whatever little time you got

You managed to make a strong impact

In fact, many fans of yours, including me

Address you as “Poonguzhali”

Coming to your latest movie “King Of Kotha”

What I loved about your character “Tara”

Was the fact that we all could relate to her

She was bold and outspoken

And at the same time, kind and caring

Yes, she did have a few flaws

But those flaws actually made her more human

And therefore, more relatable

My favourite movie of yours, though

Is undoubtedly “Gatta Kusthi”

Your character “Keerthi” was a model of women empowerment

And a lesson for all of us

Men as well as women

The way Keerthi single-handedly fought all those armed goons

Is something I will never be able to forget

For the rest of my life

However, the best part for me

Was the way Keerthi transitioned

From a fiery wrestler

To a traditional housewife

And back

Bringing out all those nuances

Would have been extremely difficult

But you managed to make it look easy

Moreover, acting aside, you are also a beautiful human being

Very humble and unassuming

Not willing to let success go to your head

As often happens with many talented film stars

And at the same time, you don’t have a filter

You always speak your mind

Without worrying about what the society would think

Moreover, you are truly following your passion

You did an MBBS, only to realise

That the cini field is where you truly belong

Then, you bravely took the plunge

In spite of a bit of resistance from your family

That shows your sheer courage

As well as unwavering self-belief and determination

Anyway, enough of my rambling

Please enjoy your big day

May all your dreams come true

And may God bless you

With lots of love, happiness, success and prosperity!!
