How Dare You Call Me Your Brother

Poem dedicated to a Gujarati fraud and cheat who used to be my colleague in my previous company. Here goes the content:

How dare you call me your brother?

Where you ever there for me

When it truly mattered?

You not only cheated me out of a huge sum of money

You also took advantage of me

Whether it be my autism

Or my propensity to help people

Without understanding their true intentions

How dare you call me your brother?

I told you all about my life

Did you ever tell me anything about yours?

Anything truthful, that is

Lie after life, sob story after sob story

You ruined my life in the worst way possible

I can forgive a thief

I can even forgive a murderer

But not a friend who betrays me

And that too in such a vile manner

How dare you call me your brother?

You are nothing more than a lowlife

Even a petty criminal has much higher standards

Than you will ever have

You are now enjoying life

Sleeping all the time in a hospital bed

When you should instead be languishing in a prison cell

How dare you call me your brother?

You may think you can avoid returning my money

Because, according to your precious little friend

You may not live long

However, you actually deserve to live

Live long and suffer throughout

Death is actually a form of mercy

Which you don’t deserve

So don’t think you can get sympathy

Just because you “might die soon”

How dare you call me your brother?

You should thank your stars

That I am a good Christian

Because, if that were not the case

I would have gone to great lengths

To find you and torture you so much

That you would eventually have no choice

But to pay me the entire amount

Instead of paying me piece by piece

And then conveniently falling ill

As you have done

But don’t worry

Though I am not going to punish you

Jesus will do it on my behalf

You would have heard of the famous saying

“As you sow, so shall you reap”

So, don’t think you have suffered enough

Your bad times have only begun

Until and unless my money is returned

Every moment of your already miserable life

Will be full of the kind of torture

That is usually reserved for sinners of the highest order

As ‘Tiger Muthuvel Pandian’ says in the movie “Jailer”

“Hukum!!!”
